FAQ

What is MyNotify+ for?

MyNotify+ lets you create flexible local notifications for your habits and routines — fixed times, intervals, daily windows, or random times within a window. It's designed for reminders that the built-in Clock and Reminders apps don't handle easily.

Some of my notifications arrive a minute late. Why?

iOS delivers local notifications on a best-effort basis and can slightly delay or group them, especially with Scheduled Summary, a Focus mode, or Low Power Mode active. MyNotify+ marks notifications as time-sensitive to improve punctuality, but iOS does not guarantee delivery to the exact second.

Why do I sometimes need to open the app?

iOS limits how many notifications an app can schedule at once. For complex or random schedules, MyNotify+ programs them in a rolling window and regenerates them when you open the app. Opening MyNotify+ every so often keeps your upcoming notifications topped up so they don't run out.

My notifications aren't arriving at all.

Check that notifications are enabled for MyNotify+ in the iOS Settings app (Settings › Notifications › MyNotify+), and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them. The app shows a warning when notification permission is off.

Is my data private?

Yes. MyNotify+ requires no account and stores your notifications only on your device — they never leave your phone. The only data sent off-device is advertising data handled by Google AdMob, subject to your consent choice. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I remove ads?

The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. You can remove them permanently with the optional one-time in-app purchase from the app's Settings screen.

How do I change my advertising consent?

You can review or change your consent choice at any time from Settings › Manage consent inside the app.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a refund request.
