Lino estimates movement using your phone's sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer), not the aircraft's instruments. The readings are indicative and for reassurance only — they are not a certified or safety measurement. Always follow the crew's instructions.
The forecast is an estimate based on aviation weather data from NOAA. It gives a general indication for your route but is not a certainty — actual conditions can differ. It should never be used for operational flight decisions.
Yes. Most of Lino works fully offline — the calm tools, breathing, sounds, and movement readings all run on your device. Only the turbulence forecast requires an internet connection to retrieve weather data.
Yes. Lino requires no account and processes almost everything on your device. Motion, location, camera, and photos never leave your phone. Only the forecast sends your flight number or airports and date — no personal identifiers.
The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. You can remove them with the optional one-time "Calma Pro" purchase, which also unlocks additional features permanently.
