What Vola con Lino is not. Lino is a companion designed to reassure you — it is not a certified, medical, or safety instrument. The movement readings come from your phone's sensors, not from the aircraft's instruments, and are indicative only. The turbulence forecast is an estimate based on weather data, not a certainty. Always follow the crew's instructions. Lino is not a substitute for professional or medical advice.
Vola con Lino is your companion for a calmer flight. It reads the aircraft's movement in real time and explains it in simple, reassuring words, offers gentle tools (breathing, sounds, light yoga, nausea relief), and provides a turbulence forecast for your route.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vola con Lino iOS application ("the App"), developed and maintained by Francesco Sarpellon, operating as LoopSpark Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
The App provides an indicative reading of movement, comfort tools, and a route turbulence forecast based on aviation weather data (NOAA). These features are for informational and comfort purposes only.
We make no warranty as to the accuracy of readings or forecasts, which must never be used as a basis for operational flight decisions — those belong entirely to the crew. The App is available in a free (ad-supported) version and includes an optional one-time purchase.
Eligibility
By using the App, you confirm that you have sufficient age and maturity to use it, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The App is not directed at young children.
Purchases and Payments
"Calma Pro" is an optional one-time purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks additional features and removes advertising:
- Calma Pro — a single payment via your Apple ID, unlocking premium features permanently.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. The basic calm mode and the flight forecast remain free.
Prices may vary by country and are subject to change. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or servers.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
- Attempt to bypass the purchase system or access paid features without payment.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and intellectual property in the App are owned by Francesco Sarpellon / LoopSpark Studio or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our express written permission.
Content you create within the App (such as your flight log) remains yours. We claim no ownership over your personal data.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Movement readings or turbulence forecasts will be accurate or complete.
- The App will meet your specific needs.
Use of the App is at your own risk. The movement readings and forecasts are indicative and must never guide operational flight decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Francesco Sarpellon / LoopSpark Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on indicative readings or forecasts.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including the NOAA Aviation Weather data source, Google AdMob, and Apple StoreKit. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable European Union law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
