Terms of Service
CentoZeri is an educational and recreational app about very large numbers, written in simple language for children. Its explanations are deliberately simplified, and several of the quantities it mentions (atoms, stars, ants, grains of sand) are scientific estimates that change over time. It is a way to spark wonder, not a textbook or a reference work.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CentoZeri iOS application ("the App"), developed and maintained by Francesco Sarpellon, operating as LoopSpark Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
CentoZeri takes you on a journey from the number 1 to infinity, one step at a time, with games, experiments, and short stories about the mathematicians behind these numbers. The content is simplified for a young audience and is provided for educational and recreational purposes. Figures described as estimates are drawn from published scientific sources and may be revised as science advances. The App works entirely offline and includes a single optional purchase.
Not a Reference Work
The App is a way to spark curiosity, not a scientific or academic reference. Its explanations are simplified on purpose, and the estimated quantities it mentions should not be relied upon for schoolwork, examinations, or any decision that requires precise figures.
Eligibility and Parental Consent
The App is designed for children. By using it, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian, or that you use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Purchases and any links that leave the App are placed behind a check intended for adults.
Purchases
The App is free to use and offers a single optional one-time purchase, Oltre il Googol, which unlocks all the stages, experiments, and final content. This is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — there are no subscriptions. The first part of the journey remains free.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on your devices. Prices may vary by country and are subject to change. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their policy; we have no ability to issue refunds directly.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
- Attempt to access paid features without payment.
Intellectual Property
All content, text, illustrations, design, and code in the App are owned by Francesco Sarpellon / LoopSpark Studio or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our express written permission.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates a single third-party service, Apple StoreKit, used only for the in-app purchase. Your use of it is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. The App uses no advertising, analytics, or other third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that its educational content will be complete or suited to any particular curriculum, or that the App will meet your specific needs. Use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Francesco Sarpellon / LoopSpark Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Italian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence in the European Union.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
